I noticed there are some dust particles under my Rolex submariner ever since I had it opened to check the movement. I suspect the back was not properly screwed in and tightened. That said, can anyone recommend what types of tools I .
Recently I noticed a small dust speck inside the case between the front crystal and dial at about the 11 o'clock position. The speck seems to be sticking to the crystal itself and while largely unnoticeable, it's bugging me now that I've seen it.
I was hoping for some handy tips on dust removal from under a watch crystal. When doing maintenance / regulation on my watches I always seem to get tiny dust particles on the underneath of the watch glass. I pretty much only have watches with sapphire glass.
After the initial cleaning they seem a little better and dust doesn't cling quite as much. But, it is still necessary to use a lens dust blower to get the remaining specs off.
